DISTILLED SILENCE

In other works we have experimented very literally with this phenomenon. Casting stone sculptures in blocks of resin so they actually float in mid-air. Bringing back the feeling of something in formaldehyde, something which is literally floating.

Time seems ungraspable by the flightiness of the reflection. On the other hand the work is extremely heavy and because of the heavy reflection, it is very in your face. This is how the temporary makes place for the eternal, the ungraspable versus the graspable.
